It should hold them fine since it still wouldn't meet the maximimum amount of students it every held I guess.
I wish I could find the enrollments from the early 80s. If memory serves, most Wise Co. schools had 700+ students.

As Stripes said it is the newest building. What they haven't been talking about is that SP will have K-12 in the same building and only offer basic core courses. If your kid wants to take any higher level/advanced classes they will have to go somewhere else ie Coeburn/Castlewood.Quote:

A&B-A -the kids that go to Castlewood would cost us MORE money and B- they can use some support items for all grades K-12, this would save some money.Quote:

Someone actually posted their thoughts on this in an earlier post. I would say that about 10-15% from pound will go to Clintwood the first year, then it will reduce down to about 1% after the first year. Appy is another story. I would say that probably 30-40% of them will go to Lee with the most of the 8th graders going to Burton, since they are slated to go to PVMS next year. Again, those will drop off to about 5 percent after that. Just my thought.
